It’s been a busy week here! I’m sorry to have not blogged anything new for all of you. Beleive me…I wish I could have!! I’ll probably be scarce through next week b/c we *think* we may finally get to move. But…I just had to post a few quick shots from my morning shoot. This is baby brother #5…and he’s as cute as his brothers. I have lots more still to proof but I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some of these.

This is a shot for Grandma…a very specific request and I think we captured it.

He turned 4 weeks today…but when you are nine pounds at birth, that little tummy won’t stay small for long. I love how you can see his tummy between his leg and arm. He’s a cute little chunky monkey!


He fell asleep right at the end. We wanted to get a shot of him in his baptismal outfit. I think he looks so peaceful in this shot. He was zonked out! And I love his little hand…

A few things I want to do differently next time but I was just happy to get this. We had just gotten home from town to get groceries and only had electricity to half the house. The wind was blowing like crazy and we were all a little tired. It was past bedtime, but when I saw the sunset, I shoo’d them all out the door to get this picture! I grew up with the parents of these kids. Mom of the older ones was my best friend growing up. I remember playing over at her house as a child and thinking she had the coolest toys. Her mom taught me piano lessons, we all went to church together, ran cross country together in high school…and even went to “nerd camp” together after our junior year. She married her high school sweetheart and now they have two beautiful children! The little guy belongs to her brother who married a girl from the town I now live in…so we know everyone on all sides of their families.

We had a beautiful morning to shoot…we got some great shots (and a few others not worth mentioning. :) ) Hope you enjoy your sneak peek A’s and W’s! It was GREAT to see you all and hope you survived your weekend!

Lovely. But we did get some great shots…these are a few of the studio shots. I will post some of the outdoor shots tomorrow (or when I get a chance!). The littlest guy gave me a run for my money so we are very happy to just have him IN the pictures. Smiling would just be icing on the cake! And Miss E LOVED the camera.
