Several weeks ago I asked for nominations of families that deserved a free session with me. I received seven nominations, all of them very deserving. I wish I could do a free session for each family! I originally thought I would just pick the family that I thought was most deserving but that proved to be very difficult. So this morning we put the names in a hat and I had one of the kids draw a name for me. We got Nathan and Cheryl Cook, nominated by Shelbie Williams!!

According to Shelbie, the Cooks have been through a lot in the last year, including the birth of their youngest baby who had to stay in the hospital for a time and a fire in their home. Through it all, their faith has remained strong…I will share more details of their story when we do their photo session. Congratulations to the Cooks! As a thank you to Shelbie, she will be receiving a $50 credit to one of her future sessions!
