Sweet Baby "G" {Kansas Newborn Photographer}
Posted on December 15, 2009
I think everyone knows how much I love to photograph newborns. There’s just something special about getting those first images of these tiny babies…capturing the time that seems so fleeting, the time that mom hardly remembers because she’s so tired! Those first few days of life give us some powerful images, reminding everyone how fragile life is and how tiny we all start out. I got to photograph baby G yesterday morning for a couple of hours. He slept the WHOLE time! That’s great with me because I much prefer those sleepy newborn shots. But it’s always nice to get a couple images of their eyes open…so we plan to try a few more last this week. For now, here’s a quick sneak peek!

Ceara and I were supposed to meet up last Monday…but remember that snow storm and freezing wind we had? Yep, it delayed our session! Saturday ended up being gorgeous so we went with it…snow still on the ground and all! I had a blast though…starting the studio and then working our way to her grandparents ranch/stables. They have the coolest place with horses everywhere! Enjoy this sneak peek (my last senior until next year!!).

Cousins! Sneak Peek {Kansas Family Photographer}
Posted on December 8, 2009
Grandma and Grandpa brought these two sweet cousins in for some pictures on Saturday morning. They were as cute as could be in their red and black outfits. The little blondie looks JUST like her momma did when she was little. Hope you all enjoy your sneak peek!

Army Strong Sneak Peek {Kansas Family Photographer}

I was honored to do this session of one of America’s finest and her little boy. Join me in saying thank you to Dani for her service to our country…she just returned from 11 months in Iraq and wanted pictures of her and her son asap. It was a great session full of hugs and laughter, silliness and smiles. I’m thrilled with what we got and hope the images will find a special place for this brave family! Enjoy the sneak peek!

"D" Family Sneak Peek {Kansas Family Photographer}
Posted on December 4, 2009
We tried all fall to get our schedules to jive with each other AND harvest for some beautiful, outdoor fall-colored family pictures. As you can see…that didn’t happen. But we made do…and still got that fall color from their wardrobe! Mama owns Rattle and Roll in Dodge City where I do the mini sessions so she had some GREAT outfits for her kids to wear. Hopefully we got some fun Christmas card pictures…enjoy the sneak peek!

7 Months Cute! {Kansas Children's Photographer}

Little Miss S came to see Santa when we did the Santa Mini Session a couple of weeks ago…so you may recognize those big ol’ eyes! She’s a little beauty, and I’m so glad she was happy and loved the camera. We even tried her in my brand new angel wings at the end! (Those will be the focus of my mini sessions in January…aren’t they beautiful?) Thanks for coming to see me…and enjoy the sneak peek!

Sneak Peek M Family {Kansas Family Photographer}
Posted on December 2, 2009
We have been talking about doing family pictures at the zoo for the M family since this summer…but we had a hard time getting our schedules to jive. We finally made it work yesterday afternoon…possibly one of the last few gorgeous days of fall we’ll see! We were after one really good family shot for grandma’s wall and think we got it…and hopefully a few others to choose from. It was fun and who can resist two cute little blondies making duck sounds the whole time? Adorable! Enjoy the sneak peek!

ROCK CHALK!! {Kansas JAYHAWK Family Photographer}
Posted on December 2, 2009
We Jayhawk fans seem to be outnumbered in our area so we have to stick together! It’s always fun to exchange a “Rock Chalk” with the Loewens when we see them around town so it was a fun treat to get to take some pictures of this Jayhawk family! My camera has seen more than its fair share of purple this fall but all that crimson and blue looked GORGEOUS through my lens. Here’s hoping our basketball season is a LOT more fun than the football season was!!! Enjoy!! (and ROCK CHALK!)
