Trace’s Many Faces {Kansas Child Photographer}
Posted on October 11, 2011
Trace is the sweetest little 5-year-old boy! He loves his momma and his Chiefs. He saved his birthday money to go buy some John Deere equipment. And he makes lots of faces! We captured some of them yesterday and I thought this little storyboard just fit!

I can’t believe Kace is 6 months already! This summer just went too fast!! Here he is all sitting up and smiling and so darn cute…even with that yucky longhorn on his shirt. (mom and dad promised he’ll come in his JAYHAWK gear for his next one!).

Harris Family {Kansas Family Photographer}

Had the pleasure of meeting the Harris family yesterday! Shawna won a session + print credit at an auction to benefit a local woman who was involved in a car wreck. Her friends planned a golf tournament and silent auction to raise money to help her pay her medical bills…when they asked me to donate I was happy to! I am told the session was a hot item at the auction, which was a relief to me! So when Shawna called to schedule her appointment I was excited to meet her and her family. She has a beautiful little 8 month old daughter…look at her amazing eyes! I can tell her mommy and daddy are smitten with her. Who wouldn’t be? Thanks for coming in with your sweet little family, Shawna! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Harper @ 6 months {kansas baby photographer}

Yes, she is a doll baby! Her mom and I had so much fun changing her into several outfits and setting up different backgrounds. Harper was over her photo shoot by the time we moved outside with the buggy…but we still managed to get a couple of cute shots! I just love the way the green grass fades into the background and let her pop in the image. Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL and SAFE labor day weekend…I’m going to be shooting an old school-mate’s wedding and then heading to the lake with the family. See you on Tuesday!

Love this little family! And the coordinating colors but not matchy-matchy style! Lil’ sis has two awesome big brothers who I’m fairly certain will prevent her from ever having a boyfriend. Thanks for coming in…great to see all of you!

Mason’s cake smash may have been the most fun one to date! He went after it and demolished it in no time flat! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASON!!!!

Well, now that school is in session and I am slowly regaining sanity, I have decided I need to get back in the swing of things with the ol’ blog. It has been encouraging to hear a few people say they have missed my blog posts. Not to worry, I have been keeping busying taking beautiful portraits for so many families in southwest Kansas…but I’ve been lazy and just posting them on my facebook page. If you want to see what I’ve been up to the last month or 2, click on the facebook icon at the top of my blog and head on over.
Mr. Cooper is the lucky one to bring the blog back to life. What could be better for my first post that this sweet, lil blue-eyed angel? Doesn’t he look like a doll? We had some fun with his brother and sister too…will have to post that peek sometime soon!
Alayna–ONE YEAR! {Kansas Baby Photographer}
Posted on July 8, 2011
As one baby started in the Baby Steps Club, one was graduating! I have really enjoyed having Alayna come in every few months this year…getting to know her and her momma a little better. I pulled very few smiles out of this little girl this year…but she has given me some of my favorite images. Just those eyes! And I’m a sucker for serious expressions…and she gave us plenty of them. It’s funny how I have a hard time with the one-year session…like my own child is turning one! Well, not quite the emotion but it’s still surreal for me how fast that first year goes by! Love these kiddos!
