Such a sweet baby today!  He came in to the studio for these and was a dream baby.  His mom said he was pretty laid back but I had to see it to believe it. He was sleeping so good at the end we even got the chin-prop shot.  yay!

Isn’t she precious?  She is the youngest of three sisters…her life is going to be so much fun!  I just loved working with her and snuggling her yesterday morning. She was so good!  

Had the most amazing newborn session this morning…baby M was wide awake when I got there and gave me some good eye contact, then fell asleep and squished into every position I put him in!  Didn’t even cry for me.  :)  I almost didn’t want to leave!!  We’ll get to watch him grow over his first year…just tune into the blog every few months!

I ended up going to my sister’s house over the weekend to photograph my brand new niece who was born on Thursday, a few weeks early.  I had planned to go up in a couple of weeks so I had to reschedule a client from this weekend (THANK YOU GUYS!!) to be able to make it up there.  We did an entire session yesterday morning and wore the little thing completely out!  And she is tiny…born at 6.3 lbs and downt o 5.13 by the time they were dismissed.  However, she was eating like a champ the whole time I was there so I bet she gains it back quickly.  And I think 3 of those pounds are all in her cheeks!  Her cheeks make her look so much bigger than she really is.  She also already has the nickname “Hurricane” due to her amazing cowlicks!  You can see the one right in the middle of her forehead…momma’s going to have some fun with that in a few years!  I feel so blessed to not only be able to share in the joy of a new family member and excitement my sister and her family are experiencing, but also count it a privilege to use the talents God has given me to help them remember this time and how fleeting those truly newborn days are.  Congratulations Megan, Brady and Jack.  Jordi is blessed to call you her family.  (and i totally miss her already!)
