Stein Family {Kansas Family Photographer}
Posted on October 29, 2011
This session with Lisa and her beautiful little family was scheduled and rescheduled over the last few weeks, for various reasons. We were both beginning to think we were cursed and the session would never happen. As it turns out, I think the session just needed to happen on this magical evening…we could not have picked a better night to take these images! From the beginning, Lisa told me she wanted some really natural images out on a quilt in the grass, reading to her kiddos. I was in love with the idea! Add in the perfect fall evening, a patient dad, and seriously adorable kiddos and we had a recipe for magic! I love when I am looking through the view finder and just *know* the image is special. Love these two just quickly peeking at the gallery! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Trace’s Many Faces {Kansas Child Photographer}
Posted on October 11, 2011
Trace is the sweetest little 5-year-old boy! He loves his momma and his Chiefs. He saved his birthday money to go buy some John Deere equipment. And he makes lots of faces! We captured some of them yesterday and I thought this little storyboard just fit!

Emma Pearl in Pearls {Kansas Baby Photographer}

When your middle name is Pearl, you have to take some cutie-pie pictures with grandma’s pearls! How cute is this?!!? Her momma brought in her own strands of pearls…and I love the denim overalls with them. Is she a cutie or what?

Abby and Russ {Kansas Wedding Photographer}
Posted on October 5, 2011
Abby and Russ drove down from Hays yesterday to do engagement pictures in this good ol’ Kansas wind. 30 and 40 mph winds just don’t do much for the hair! But we worked through it and got some really amazing images for these to two as they start all the preparations for their wedding next summer. Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Can you tell who didn’t have school on Friday? Teacher inservice days make great times to do sessions so no one has to miss school or practice! Brett came in Friday right after Wyatt, and we had fun working on doing different poses and backgrounds from the other SGHS kids I’ve already worked with! Let me tell you, that is no easy feat! Sometimes I can just get into my routine and have to remind myself of the creativity that makes this so much fun. Really digging in and focusing on that aspect paid off for his session, and we ended up with some really fun shots. Brett was a great sport about all of it! Thanks for coming in…enjoy the sneak peek!
